Letter : London, to James Monroe, Paris, 1804 Oct. 26.

Writing to Monroe, then minister to the Court of St. James about his willingness to assist Mr. Purviance [Samuel Dinsmore Purviance?] with regard to "the late interesting transaction respecting Spain." He also gives news that the commanders of the British frigates at New York "have been superceded."
